DESCRIPTION:The High Country Artists are rolling out the welcome mat to fresh air artists\, photographers\, and writers wishing to immerse themselves in the breathtaking beauty of eastern Washington for a week of artistic fun!\n\n This year's week-long plein air event is designed to provide a truly memorable experience for artists\, art lovers and the entire region. In addition to the week-long opportunity to fresh air paint\, this festival will offer fresh air painting demonstrations\, outdoor workshops for all age levels on fresh air painting\, writing workshops\, Friday night reception\, and a juried art exhibit with cash awards. Adding to the fun this year will be a Quick Draw competition which will be centered in the heart of Cle Elum\, and an outdoor painting demonstration geared specifically to kids aged 8-800!
