DESCRIPTION:The Banff Centre is bringing films that explore every aspect of mountain culture\, including footage of the some of the greatest winter sports action ever recorded. This year\, CWU's Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals wants everyone to enjoy the mountain culture by hosting the Banff Mountain Film Festival on campus in the SURC Theatre on Thursday\, Dec. 8. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the film will start at 7 p.m. The films will last around two hours with a 15-minute intermission. There will be giveaways from Banff and OPR for attendees. Tickets brought before the event are $12 for CWU students (with ID) and $16 for general admission. All tickets will cost $18 on the day of the event.
