SUMMARY:Communication & Conflict Resolution Skills for the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima & Kittitas Counties is having two Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills for the Workplace trainings\, one in Yakima and one in Ellensburg. In Yakima: Thursday\, October 6\, 2016\, 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM Friday\, October 7\, 2016\, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM OR in Ellensburg: Thursday\, November 17\, 2016\, 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM Friday\, November 18\, 2016\, 8:00 AM to noon. This 1.5 day training will focus on communication and conflict resolution skills to address workplace problems and disputes. The skills learned in this training will be useful in all settings where people interact with one another\, such as between coworkers\, with customers\, between supervisors or human resource staff and employees\, and in personal relationships as well. This training primarily utilizes large group presentation and discussion\, as well as experiential practice as a means of teaching these skills. Participants will leave with concrete methods of addressing the conflict in their workplaces and in their lives.
