DESCRIPTION:The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties will offer a day and a half long Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills for the Workplace training in Yakima Wednesday and Thursday\, March 12-13\, 2015. Trainees will receive 12 hours of instruction in communication and conflict resolution skills to address workplace problems and disputes\, including hands-on experience in invaluable communication\, negotiation\, and listening tools that can help in every aspect of their work and home lives. The skills learned in this training will be useful in all settings where people interact with one another\, such as between co-workers\, with customers\, between human resource staff or supervisors and employees\, and in personal relationships as well. Participants will leave with concrete methods of addressing the conflict in their workplaces and in their lives.
