DESCRIPTION:CWU Brooks Library 2nd Annual Gala and Silent Auction\n\n7:00 PM - 10:00 PM April 11th\, 2015\n\n \n\nJoin the CWU Brooks Library for their 2nd annual Gala and Silent Auction on April 11th\, from 7-10 PM. The event will benefit the Library\, which serves as a local landmark and resource\n\n \n\nThe evening will feature entertainment from local musicians and poets\, as well as local food and drink. Dance in the stacks to the music of the Big Band era with the CWU Swing Cats and the Ellensburg Big Band\, and enjoy the work of local saxophonist Lenny Price\, as well as the offerings of some of CWU's own music students. Drop by the Open Mic Poet Beat Corner to hear the creative works of CWU English students and CWU faculty member Xavier Cavazos.\n\n \n\nGuests will be served various sweet and savory hors d'oeuvres all evening. Local Ellensburg business\, WineWorks\, will be serving beer and wine throughout the evening\, with $1 of every glass of wine sold being donated to the Brooks Library.
