The popular Eyes in the Woods statewide program started as a nonprofit effort dedicated to help the professionals that protect and manage our fish and wildlife. At the training\, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife staff provide a two-hour-long\, Crime Observation and Reporting training (CORT). This programs primary goal is to create a network of trained citizens dedicated to reducing poaching and other natural resource abuses through this non-confrontational expert witness program. Class participants become a Certified Witness for the Washington State Department Of Fish & Wildlife. This class also satisfies the CORT training requirement for WDFW Master Hunter applicants.
