Then now is the time to register for Kittitas Connect: Yakima River Canyon. This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE)\, Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals (OPR) and the Bureau of Land Management\, and is designed to bring students together for a day of floating the Yakima River while picking up litter along the way. Space is limited\, so visit the CLCE office in SURC 256 to register now! Registration and participation are free. The event will take place Saturday\, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will meet in the SURC Pit and then be transported to and from the Yakima River.
