Derry will read from several of her collections of poetry Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Theatre. This reading is free and open to the public. Derry is the author of six books of poetry including Tremolo and Strangers to Their Courage\, which was a finalist for the Washington Book Award in 2002. Her books will be for sale at the reading courtesy of The Wildcat Shop.
