DESCRIPTION:Applying for lodging tax grants for tourism-related special projects and festivals is in its second year of the electronic process. Paper copies are no longer accepted. "We are hoping this new electronic process will be easier for both the applicants and staff" said Kittitas County Commissioner Laura Osiadacz\, who currently Chairs the County's Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. To facilitate the process\, there will be grant application training provided in both Upper and Lower County. \n\n\n\nThe following two trainings are scheduled\, one in Upper County and one in Lower County:\n\n	Tuesday\, August 7th\, Upper Kittitas County Courthouse\, Cle Elum\, time: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.\n	Tuesday\, August 14th\, Ellensburg City Hall\, Ellensburg\, time:  5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.\n\n\n\nThe trainings are hosted by the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce.  The trainings are not required\, but highly encouraged\, as they should help the applicants with  questions they have regarding the application process.\n\n\n\nThe request for proposals for lodging tax grants for tourism-related special projects and festivals will be announced soon
