DESCRIPTION:During National Breast Cancer Awareness Month\, local surgeon Kenneth Harris will give a short presentation about what to expect on a journey with breast cancer.  The presentation\, which will be held at noon on October 21\, 2013 at KVH Hospital\, is free and open to the public.\n\nBreast cancer is the most common kind of cancer in Washington State\, and about 30 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in Kittitas County.  Dr. Harris has practiced general surgery in Ellensburg since 1982.  He specializes in breast biopsy and surgery\, performing approximatlely 20 breast procedures each year.
