DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the Nexus exhibition in the Sarah Spurgeon Gallery\, artist Squire Broel will discuss how his personal interactions with established contemporary artists have impacted his work and artistic career. During his tenure as patineur for the Walla Walla Foundry\, Broel's creative vision was informed and energized by the relationships and experiences he encountered on a daily basis. The lecture will be directly followed by an opening reception in the gallery from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
