The weekend begins with Barrel racing throughout Saturday at the Rodeo Arena. A northwest Steer Roping Associatioin sanctioned roping will be held Saturday afternoon\, at Ken MacRae's Arena. Saturday evening\, at the Western village\, our "Roper Auction" continues to gain popularity. This event gives everyone the chance to get involved\, with a "vested interest" in the sunday's roping. THis year all proceeds from our silent auction\,k Saturday Night\, will be donated to the Emmett Evans Benefit Fund. The weekend finishes off with the "Ellensburg 5- Header" on Sunday. In its 32nd Year\, this event continues to bring the regions's best tie-down and breakaway calf ropers to Ellensburg. These events attract contestants from throughout Washington\, Oregon and Idaho.
