SUMMARY:Orchesis Dance Concert
DESCRIPTION:ORCHESIS DANCE COMPANY\, Central Washington University's dance performance company presents its annual spring Dance Concert on June 1\, 2\, and 3rd\, in the McConnell Auditorium on the CWU campus at 7:30 pm each evening. This year the Orchesis show features modern choreography by Dance faculty Therese Young and Gabrielle McNeillie along with an International Rhumba piece choreographed by Adam Meyers. Some of the other highlights include several guest artist pieces including a modern solo choreographed by guest artist Michael Blue\, and a modern piece by Theatre grad assistant Robert Hanson. A lively tap number choreographed by Taylor Bir\, and a variety of student works including group\, solos and duets round out the show. Doors will open for the audience at 7:00. Tickets are $10.00 for general admission\, $8.00 for Seniors/Students and $5.00 for CWU Students with ID. Tickets are available at the door or online at http://www.cwu.edu/~wildcattickets/. The performance is co-produced by the PESHMS (Physical Education\, School Health\, and Movement Studies) and Theatre Arts.
