DESCRIPTION:Show your support for victims of abuse while showing off your athleticism by participating in the CWU Wellness Center?s Route to Hope 5K Saturday\, April 5. Through their partnership with the CWU Wellness Center\, Abuse Support and Prevention Education Now (ASPEN) will receive all proceeds from the 5K. ASPEN is a non-profit program of Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health\, and provides confidential services and aid to victims of abuse\, sexual assault and other forms of oppression. Check in begins at 8 a.m. and the race will take off at 9:30 a.m. from the CWU Welcome Center. Participants can register at the CWU Recreation Center front desk\, and registration fees are $15 for CWU students and $20 for general admission. Participants of the Route to Hope 5K will not only be able to enjoy a Saturday in the sun\, but they will also provide valuable support to those in need.
