SUMMARY:SAAB Founder & CEO Speaks at CWU/Establishing New Chapter
DESCRIPTION:Young men of color face unique challenges\, and those from at-risk communities and underprivileged backgrounds can be presented with obstacles that\, without support and mentorship\, are insurmountable. SAAB founder and CEO Dr. Tyrone Bledsoe will present the history\, purpose and mission of SAAB at a free public talk Wednesday\, April 15 at 3 p.m. in Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) room 301. CWU students\, faculty\, staff and Ellensburg community members are encouraged to attend. CWU hopes to establish a SAAB/Brother to Brother chapter in Ellensburg that will be open to all men enrolled at Central. This will be the first campus in the Pacific Northwest to establish a SAAB/Brother To Brother chapter and one of only three on the west coast. SAAB operates through more than 300 student chapters nationally and strives to provide support and mentorship to young men\, guiding them towards a future of success.
