DESCRIPTION:For a night of astounding vocalization attend the Spring a Capella Concert at CWU. Four a Capella groups\, The Pretty Pitches\, Nada Cantata\, Boots ?n? Cats and Blunt Force Trauma\, will bring their unique styles and entertaining sets to the Jerilyn S. McIntyre Music Building Concert Hall Monday\, June 9 at 8:15 p.m. Attendance is free\, and everyone is welcome to come hear these four groups create music with only their voices. The Pretty Pitches\, Nada Cantata and Boots ?n? Cats represented CWU at the 2014 International Championship of Collegiate a Capella (ICCA) West quarterfinals at Pacific Lutheran University. Nada Cantata received third place at the competition\, as well as best choreography and best solo. Boots ?n? Cats placed second\, and went on to represent CWU at the ICCA West semifinals in Los Angeles. Other performances of note include Nada Cantata and Blunt Force Trauma at the 5th annual Northwest a Capella Concert at Western Washington University and Boots ?n?
