DESCRIPTION:Moments to Remember at the Fairgrounds will be a little different this year. Friends of the Fair and Youth Services Mentor Program are working together to organize StewFest on Friday November 27th at the Fairgrounds! A delicious stew from three local restaurants will be featured at the event. \n\nThe event will be at the Fairgrounds from 12-6pm on Friday\, November 27th. The cost is $5\, with proceeds going to the Community Christmas Basket and the Youth Services Mentor Program. The meal will include beverages and Winegar's ice cream. \n\nThe Holiday Craft Bazaar will also be happening at the same time\, and we have heard rumors that Santa might make an appearance! \n\nThe goal of the Community Christmas Basket program is to provide families with plenty of food to last through Christmas time. Youth Services Mentor Program provides year-round mentor-mentee matches. The goal of the Mentor Program is to provide local children or teens with the experiences of a nurturing one-to-one relationship and community support. We know that when children feel supported and connected to their community they are more likely to succeed in school\, less likely to use drugs and alcohol\, and more likely to develop nurturing relationships later in life. \n\nThe Fairground lighting will happen at 6:05pm. After this event make your way down to Safeway for the annual Christmas tree lighting at 6:15pm. \n\n Visit with SANTA from 3-6pm
