DESCRIPTION:The CWU Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) will host Tea at 3\, an engaging and interactive speaker series at CWU. Attendees of the free speaking event will have the opportunity to hear from CWU faculty\, staff and community members as they share stories of their personal journeys to their current places in life. On Thursday\, January 21 attendees can join Dr. Stacey Robertson\, CWU?s dean of the College of Arts and Humanities\, in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Pit at 3 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public. Dr. Robertson officially took the position as dean of the College of Arts and Humanities in February 2015 after teaching and serving as interim dean for two years at Bradley University\, a private university in Illinois\, in their College of Arts and Sciences. Co-director of the national anti-slavery organization\, Historians Against Slavery\, social justice is a priority for Robertson. Her vision for Central is to turn the campus into an anti-slavery campus by creating programs and organizations that will encourage students to combat modern slave trading.
