Sparrow Clubs of Central Washington received recognition from the Chamber in 2013 as the Best Nonprofit in Kittitas County. We strive to assist families with children in medical need by linking them with schools and youth groups such as 4-H. These young people do community service to "earn" funds that are donated by local businesses to help Sparrow families. Students learn how to give back to their community with service\, local businesses rally round for the benefit of children in medical need\, and families receive both financial and emotional support. Over the past 20 years\, this fundraiser in Ellensburg has contributed over $400\,000 to Sparrow Clubs\, with lots of local support and participation.\n\n \n\nPlease join in the fun of "racing and roping for the kids" in the Ellensburg Rodeo Arena on Father's Day Weekend this year\, June 17 (barrel race in the evening)\, June 18-19 (team roping all day both days).
