DESCRIPTION:Unheard Voices: A Call to Action for Japan is a benefit concert taking place to raise awareness of the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that took place along the north-east coast of Japan.\n\nThis benefit will feature local bands from the community and CWU campus\, and will also include a silent auction.\n\n\n\nBands will be announced in early April.\n\n\n\nTo volunteer at this event\, go to www.takeactioncwu.com\n\n\n\n\n\nThe program will go from 8 pm-12 am on April 27\, 2011 at Raw Space.\n\nTickets are $5 at the door.\n\n\n\nWith any questions about this event\, call (509) 963-1643\, e-mail takeaction@cwu.edu\, or stop by the Civic Engagement Center in SURC 256B.\n\n\n\n100% of proceeds will go Japanese disaster assistance through Direct Relief International.
