DESCRIPTION:The Veterans Resource Fair was conceived by veterans who realized the veteran community desperately needed a safe space to connect with other veterans and receive information and connection to services available specifically to the veteran community. \n\nThe Veteran Resource Fair is a community partnership between various veteran-owned agencies\, nonprofits\, and federal\, state\, and local county agencies whose aim is to provide an annual and reliable space where Pierce\, King\, Kitsap\, and Thurston Counties Veterans and their families can obtain direct connections and information to many different types of veteran-specific programs and resources\, to include: \n\n\n	\n	Veteran Administration (VA) Benefits \n	\n	\n	Community Services \n	\n	\n	Services for Unhoused Veterans / At Risk \n	\n	\n	Medical Screenings and Dental Resources \n	\n	\n	Community Reintegration Services \n	\n	\n	Employment / Apprenticeship / Training and Vocational Opportunities \n	\n	\n	Educational Benefits \n	\n	\n	Female and Non-binary Veteran Resources \n	\n	\n	Financial Education / Assistance \n	\n	\n	Housing / Home Ownership Resources \n	\n	\n	Disability Claims / Benefits \n	\n	\n	Legal Services\n\n	This is a FREE event for ALL veterans\, active duty\, and their families.
