DESCRIPTION:For the fourth year in a row\, CWU University Recreation is hosting the Wildcat Dash 5k on campus. This is a 5k with a twist Saturday\, May 30 features a full obstacle course in addition to five kilometers of running. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. on the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) East Patio and the event begins at 10 a.m. Registration is open online at www.cwu.edu/tickets and is $20 for CWU students and Recreation Center members and $40 for non-members before Friday\, May 25\, and $25 and $45 respectively until the day of the event. Participants who pre-register will receive a free Wildcat Dash t-shirt and the first male and female to complete the 5k will win an Intramural Champion t-shirt and bragging rights. This event is open to the public and all are welcome to take the challenge.\n\n \n\nThe Wildcat Dash is equipped with at least a dozen obstacles designed to challenge each participant physically and mentally. Some of the obstacles include crawling through mud\, carrying paint buckets\, a rope climb and walking a balance beam\, just to name a few.
