DESCRIPTION:Now that D Street is officially Wildcat Way following a unanimous decision by the Ellensburg City Council\, it?s time to celebrate. The Associated Students of Central Washington University (ASCWU) Student Government will be officiating the ceremonial occasion Friday\, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. in front of Shaw Smyser Hall on the southwestern corner of CWU?s campus. The former D Street sign on the corner of E. University Way will be switched out to the new name in addition to a community photo. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend this historic commemorative event. For more information contact the ASCWU Student Government at 509-963-1693 or ascwu@cwu.edu.
