University Recreation\, Winegars and the CWU Law & Justice Club will host the Zombie 5k\, Saturday\, Nov. 2. Come out to the SURC East Patio at 5 p.m. to register for this one of a kind race. Human participants take off at 6 p.m. and should be prepared not only for a fun 5k\, but the apocalypse\, as zombies will be lurking around the course. Participants will receive a drawstring bag and registration is only $15 at the Recreation Center or online at www.cwu.edu/tickets. Proceeds will be donated to the Behind the Badge Foundation\, an organization dedicated to aiding the families of fallen police officers. The first 25 to register will receive a free Behind the Badge t-shirt. This event features mature themes\, and participants are asked to please not bring pets ? zombies gobble dogs like breakfast cereal.
