10th Annual Washington Fly Fishing Fair
Ellensburg, WA, the gateway to the Yakima River, will host the 10th Annual Washington Fly Fishing Fair on for April 29th & 30th, 2016. The event features fly-tying demonstrations, casting classes, seminars on myriad topics, vendor displays, and a Fly Casting Obstacle Course that will allow you to test your skills and hone your techniques.
Dave Hughes author and fly tyer will be our guest presenter and give a Wet Fly Tying workshop. In addition, private lessons with a certified casting instructor will be available for a fee. Youth Workshop, Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM -Introduction to Fly Fishing including tying and casting. Each student will receive a fly rod outfit and lunch. Limited to 20 students (12-16), $40. All day Saturday there will be free fly tying for those interested in trying their hand at tying flies.
The WSCIFFF Awards Banquet takes place Friday night. The Fly Fishing Fair takes place at the Kittitas Valley Event Center in the Fairgrounds.
