ACE 6-Week Personal Training Course: Registration

CWU University Recreation is hosting the American Council of Exercise (ACE) 6-week Personal Training Course this winter from Jan. 14 through Feb. 25 and is encouraging anyone interested in becoming a personal trainer to register. This course is open to the public and classes will be held weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Black Hall room 136. The course is $175 and pre-registration is available at the Recreation Center front desk or by calling 509-963-3512.
 
Preparation materials for the exam will be provided, in addition to First Aid/CPR certification, 40 hours of instruction and practical experience, and an ACE personal training manual. The ACE personal training manual includes textbooks concentrated on nutrition and physiology, as well as materials to aid in designing exercise programs.
 
ACE is a nationally recognized organization that specializes on health and fitness education throughout the United States. ACE’s personal training regiment and certification is the last step for anyone looking to become a working professional in the personal training occupation.
