Climate Ribbon Project
The CLIMATE RIBBON PROJECT kicks off Sunday, October 25 and ends November 22, the day of the COMMUNITY CLIMATE WALK. Anyone can visit a YELLOW BAG CLIMATE RIBBON site at Winegar’s@Jerrols, Winegar’s North, D&M Coffee Downtown, Pearl Street Books and Ellensburg’s Public Library to make CLIMATE RIBBONS.
The purpose of the CLIMATE RIBBON PROJECT is help build a climate aware community. Each Ribbon carries a message from the maker about what they love and never want to lose climate chaos. Directions are on the YELLOW BAG.
RIBBONS can be left in the YELLOW BAG for someone to carry, or brought to the COMMUNITY CLIMATE WALK starting at the CWU SURC courtyard at noon Nov. 22. ALL the RIBBONS will be gathered at Hal Holmes (1:30) and sent to world leaders in Paris for the UN Climate Summit in December.
