CWU Celebrates Pride Week: Amateur Drag Show/Pride Parade
Pride is a nationally recognized movement in celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and ally culture with annual events scheduled in cities and communities across the globe. CWU?s celebration of Pride Week is From Monday, May 25 through Friday, May 29, and numerous events are planned on campus. One such event, and a favored one each year, is the Amateur Drag Show Friday, May 29 at 11 a.m. on the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) West Patio. Everyone is encouraged to attend this popular free event. In addition, a Pride Parade will follow and anyone and everyone is welcome to march. Grab a sign or a flag and join the group!
