CWU Comedy Night: Drew Barth and Brian Moote
Those in the Ellensburg area who love comedy are in luck: Thanks to CWU Campus Activities, there’s no need to travel far to see a great live comedy show, because one is coming to CWU. On Friday, Nov. 21 at 9 p.m. at the CWU Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Ballroom, comedians Drew Barth and Brian Moote will be co-headlining Comedy Night, a live comedy event open to the public. Tickets are available at the door and are $5 general admission and free for CWU students with valid student ID.
Drew Barth is one of the fastest growing comedians in the Pacific Northwest, garnering a huge following in the city of Seattle. Barth has performed at such landmark comedy venues as The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory and The Improv.
Brian Moote began performing stand up in 2005 while working as a teacher in the Seattle School District. After graduating from a master’s program, he moved to LA to tour the country as a comedian. Moote has made appearances in such TV shows as MTV’s “Money from Strangers” and USA Network’s “Characters Welcome.”
