CWU hosts Ferguson Town Hall Meeting, discussion
Doors open at 6 p.m., meeting is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Elmira, 117 E 4th Ave Ellensburg Free and open to the public With political and social tensions rising over the shooting death of teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., issues of safety, inclusiveness and social equality have been brought into question nationwide. You are invited to join CWU for an open panel discussion examining ways in which the events in Ferguson may affect us locally. This event is sponsored by the CWU Center for Diversity and Social Justice, Department of Africana and Black Studies, 88.1 The ?Burg, and is free and open to the public.
