Ellensburg Metaphysical Network Presentation: Healing Touch for Health

Anna Marie Newman RN, LMP, HTCP/I will give a short introduction to Healing Touch therapy.  During her Nursing career she has worked in both city and rural hospitals.  During this presentation she will give us some insight as to why Healing Touch training is now accepted as continuing education credit for Nurses, and how it has won acceptance to be practiced as a complementary healing technique in many hospitals.

Healing Touch is an integrative energy therapy that is used in conjuncton with traditional therapies.  It is a compassionate energy therapy in which practitioners use their hands in a heart-centered and intentional way to support and facilitate physical, emotional, mental, spiritual health and self-healing. Healing Touch uses gentle, light or near-body touch to clear, balance, energize and support the human energy system in an effort to promote healing for the whole person. The goal of Healing Touch is to restore harmony and balance in the energy system thus creating an optimal environment for the body’s innate tendency for healing to occur.  If you have wanted to learn about Healing Touch, but have not had the time available to participate in a full two-day class, this presentation will give you the opportunity to learn more about this powerful healing modality.
