He Said, They Said, She Said, Ze Said: Explore Gender and Orientation Stereotype
Interested in learning more about gender and sexual orientation and helping to eliminate stereotypes? Then join the CWU Wellness Center for their event "He Said, They Said, She Said, Ze Said" Wednesday, June 4 at 7 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Theatre. This event is free and open to the public. This interactive program will allow attendees to explore the stereotypes attached to gender and sexual orientation. A group of people will convey a stereotype to the audience based on how the audience perceives the group?s gender and orientation. Then, after the audience has guessed the gender and orientation of the group, the group?s true gender and orientation will be revealed. Through this exercise, attendees can break down stereotypes associated with gender and sexual orientation in a way that is fun and informative.
