Become a Home Fire Preparedness Volunteer
Seven times a day, someone in this country dies in a home fire.
The American Red Cross has launched a nationwide campaign to reduce this number.
You can help Save Lives by Volunteering!
We need volunteers to help with:
-
Canvassing-going door-to-door and promoting free smoke alarm installation, providing residents
with important information on preparing for Home Fires and Wildfires
-
Installation-help install smoke alarms, replace batteries, and teach residents how to test/ maintain their smoke alarms, help residents develop a fire escape plan and complete a fire- safety checklist
Home Fire Preparedness Campaigns in Ellensburg and Cle Elum:
May 30th—Ellensburg Canvassing
June 6th and 7th—Ellensburg Installation
June 13th—South Cle Elum Canvassing
June 27th and 28th—South Cle Elum Installation
