"Language Matters" film screening with poet Bob Holman
American poet and poetry activist Bob Holman will bring his forthcoming film ?Language Matters,? which stars Holman and features linguists David Crystal and Nick Evans, to Central Washington University for an exclusive pre-screening to its nationwide PBS broadcast. The screening will be on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Theatre and a Q&A and book signing with Holman will follow. Admission is free and open to the public. This event is sponsored by the CWU Center for Diversity and Social Justice, the CWU Department of English and the CWU Center for Latino and Latin American Studies.
