DESCRIPTION:Prestige Senior Living at Hearthstone invites veterans and their loved ones to attend a free discussion on Tuesday\, November 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.\, to learn about VA benefits for senior service members. Individuals who served in the military\, naval or air service   including Reserve and National Guard members   may qualify for VA benefits. During this free event\, Billy Robins\, president of Kittitas County Veterans Coalition\, will guide attendees through eligibility requirements and commonly asked questions\, including questions on the enrollment process\, disability and pension claims\, VA healthcare options\, transportation assistance and more. Robins has more than 20 years of experience in helping veterans access the tools and resources available to them. He is a veteran service officer (VSO) and is also a combat veteran of the Vietnam War with both the Marines and Air Force. As a partner in active aging\, Prestige is dedicated to helping older adults have access to the information and support they need to live healthy\, meaningful lives.
