SUMMARY:Communication and Conflict Resolution for the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties will offer a day and a half long Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills for the Workplace Training Thursday and Friday\, August 29-30\, 2019. Trainees will receive 12 hours of instruction in communication and conflict resolution skills to address workplace problems and disputes\, including hands-on experience in communication\, negotiation\, and listening tools that can help in every aspect of their work and home lives.  The skills learned in this training will be useful in all settings where people interact with one another\, such as between co-workers\, with customers\, between human resource staff or supervisors and employees\, and in personal relationships\, as well.  Participants will leave with concrete methods of addressing the conflict in their workplaces and in their lives.\n\n\n\nFor those on the front lines of addressing workplace difficulties or conflict\, you may want to consider completing\, or sending your employees\, to our full 40-hour Basic Mediation Training which will be offered this September.
