SUMMARY:Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills for the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties is offering a 1.5-day Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills for the Workplace Training Thursday and Friday February 6-7\, 2020. Trainees will receive 12 hours of instruction in communication and conflict resolution skills to address workplace problems and disputes\, including hands-on experience in communication\, negotiation\, and listening tools.  The skills learned in this training will be useful in all settings where people interact with one another\, such as between co-workers\, with customers\, between human resource staff or supervisors and employees\, and in personal relationships\, as well.  Participants will leave with concrete methods of addressing the conflict in their workplaces and in their lives.\n\n\n\nFor those employees who are on the front lines of addressing any workplace difficulties or conflict\, you may want to consider having them complete our full Basic Mediation Training which will be offered in March 2020.
