DESCRIPTION:Have tensions in the workplace been difficult to navigate? The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties (DRC) is offering a 1.5-day training that will focus on communication and conflict resolution skills to address workplace problems and disputes. The skills learned in this training will be useful in all settings where people interact with one another\, such as between coworkers\, with customers\, between supervisors and employees\, and in personal relationships\, as well. This training primarily utilizes interactive presentation and discussion as well as experiential practice as a means of teaching these skills. Participants will leave with concrete methods of addressing the conflict in their workplaces and in their lives:  Training Components    Active Listening Skills and Techniques     Conflict Theories and Styles     Models for Addressing Workplace Conflict    Acknowledgement: Restating/Reflecting/Reframing ?
