DESCRIPTION:The Cultural Conversations program provides a community forum for meeting new friends and learning about global cultures. Co-sponsored by CWU Libraries\, Ellensburg Public Library\, and the CWU Office of International Studies and Programs. Our storyteller this quarter is Monique Simmons. Monique is an international student from Australia. She was raised in a mining town in the far west of New South Wales in the Australian Outback. Monique is majoring in nutrition while attending CWU for two quarters. After finishing her bachelor's degree she plans to complete a Master of Dietetic Studies in Australia and pursue a career specializing in sports dietetics and hormones. Free and open to all.
