DESCRIPTION:What does it take to be a leader? Are leaders born or can you develop leadership? We will explore these questions in our Intro to Leadership Course. The course will help you to consider the role of leadership and management in the organization and to look at personality traits and skills and behaviors relevant to leadership. You will be able to learn more about setting goals and delegating\, providing feedback and recognition\, coaching others for goals and problem solving. We will look at key factors influencing team dynamics and ways to impact team performance and the relevance of leadership to organizational culture and change. The course is very practical and is led by Olena Sergeeva\, experienced senior manager\, educator and consultant. Contact CWU Continuing Education at 509-963-1712 to learn more or register.
