DESCRIPTION:The Kittitas Environmental Education Network (KEEN) invites you to the 13th annual KEEN Winter Fair\, a free event for the whole family. KEEN's Winter Fair is a fun opportunity for community members to discover organizations\, programs\, and vendors that offer local educational opportunities\, information about our environment\, and sustainably sourced goods and services. Learn more about programs such as the Yakima Canyon Interpretive Center\, Yakama Nation Fisheries with live lamprey eels\, City of Ellensburg Stormwater Program\, and CWU's Biology program with live reptiles. Engage with conservation initiatives such as Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust/Teanaway Community Forest and Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group\, sign up for home energy audits by Hopesource\, and learn about small animal massage with Cottonwood Animal Massage. Outside in the parking lot the City of Ellensburg will bring their vactor truck and provide information on stormwater management. Good Mood Food will have their food truck ready to satisfy the most hungry appetite! Grab a smash burger while you learn\, engage\, and build community!
