SUMMARY:Kittitas County Fire District 1 Station 1-3 Ribbon Cutting
DESCRIPTION:Station 1-3 will be operational the evening of Friday\, May 14th. We will be doing a small "ribbon cutting" at 5:30pm. FD1 commissioners\, Chief and Firefighters will be present to take some pictures and push the truck into the station. We are keeping it small for two reasons. 1. The rise in Covid numbers in our county. 2. We chose to get the station operational as soon as possible instead of waiting longer to give more time for planning a bigger event.\n\nWe are excited to be moved in and operational in the Sunlight Waters and Elk Heights community. There will still be work to do in the building but it will be functional and signed off by the end of next week. Thank you again to Suncadia Community Enhancement\, Shoemaker Foundation and PSE foundation for the grants that paid a portion of the build costs.
