DESCRIPTION:League of Women Voters of Kittitas County will host Kittitas County Commissioner Cory Wright and Washington State Association of Counties' (WSAC) Executive Director Eric Johnson to describe the work of the Kittitas County Executive Management Advisory Committee on February 22\, 11 am\, at Ellensburg Pasta Co. Please note\, this program is one week later and an hour earlier than usual! The Committee\, appointed in 2022 by the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC)\, is exploring potential changes to the organizational structure and management of the departments\, services\, and programs administered by the BoCC. The WSAC's work with the Committee includes development of a proposed structure for county functions and operations overseen by the BoCC and potentially a new County Administrator/Manager position. Findings and recommendations to the BoCC are anticipated in April 2023. The event is free and open to the public with a no-host lunch.
