The Downtown Ellensburg Association introduces the 2nd Annual celebration of International Music Day (Fete de la Musique) on Wednesday\, June 21st from 4-8pm. International Music Day is the one day a year when people around the world celebrate the importance of music through FREE\, open and inclusive events worldwide. International Music Day is celebrated in over 450 cities and 100 countries when musicians of all ages and skill levels take to the streets\, sidewalks\, restaurants\, and parks to play. Entire communities come out to listen\, dance\, and join in making music.\n\n \n\nEllensburg\, musicians are taking to the streets\, playing in several outdoor stages and indoor venues. Register to play at: https://www.ellensburgdowntown.org/events/ellensburg-make-music-day-2 by Friday\, June 2nd. \n\n \n\nWho can participate?\n- This is an all ages\, all ability\, all play event for anyone who plays an instrument from school bands\, wood shedders\, garage bands\, music students and solo musicians. Every kind of musician\, amateur to professional\, can donate their time and talents for this unique community event. \n\n\n\n-OPEN MIC FOR ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVEL- Musicians will have 15 minutes to perform. Sign-ups start at 3pm at Old Skool's located at 308 N. Main Street. Mixer\, small PA and Microphone are provided.
