SUMMARY:Operating Engineers Top Hand Competition
DESCRIPTION:This event is open to the public and is a rare opportunity to see heavy equipment and cranes up close and personal. Highly skilled Operating Engineer Union operators will display their talents as they go head-to-head in a contest operating various types of equipment to be crowned the best of the best. A free lunch is provided from 11-2 pm as well as cotton candy\, popcorn\, and beverages. A cash bar will be on site to serve adult drinks. During the event\, there will be a hay ride to give a tour of the facility and equipment areas and an opportunity for the public to operate Excavators and Cranes for themselves. There is a separate kid area including: jumpy houses\, hay hunt\, face painting\, balloon animals\, sandbox fun\, hard hat decorating\, sporting games\, kiddie pools\, and more.
