DESCRIPTION:Benefiting Kittitas County Search and Rescue Welcome to Run Like The Wind Trail Running Festival! In collaboration with Puget Sound Energy\, Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility and Run for Good Racing Company we present to you a 5K\, 10K\, and a free kids dash\, woven along the trails\, paths and roads of the majestic wind turbines outside of Ellensburg. These races will be challenging\, with\, most likely a lot of wind but certainly a lot of elevation gain and drop and a few tough trails\, but gorgeous with views of Mt. Rainier\, the Columbia River and the Eastern Washington plains. Get a guided tour of the wind farm either before or after your race and see the awesome power of the wind. Beer courtesy of Iron Horse Brewery\, and great\, homemade food await you at the finish line. Schedule 8:30am - Registration and packet pickup opens 9:15am - Kids dash start 9:30am - 10K start 10:00am - 5K start 11:00am - Awards 12:30pm - Wildflower Wal
