2019 ChillAxle Car Show and RC Car Race Time: 9am - 2pm Awards @ 1pm Sponsor: Taco's Chalito Location: 901 E. 7th Ave. Details: In addition to the display of more than 100 collector cars showcased across the grounds, the second annual ChillAxle will offer an abundance of activities and attractions for families and children at the Kittitas Valley Event Center on Saturday June 29, 2019.Featuring an array of vintage, domestics, imports, & modern Muscle cars as well as local car clubs, the show will offer a memorable experience with some unique cars. The Grand Boulevard is our outside venue providing show-goers with an historical walk-through of automotive history, with a display of the finest classic and historic vehicles from all eras. There will be a number of commercial vendors selling their wares, and many food vendors enjoy in our food court. In our indoor arena, well set up a challenging race track where RC car enthusiasts will run heats throughout the day and compete for cash prizes. There will be several racing brackets. The cost to enter the races is very reasonable. Likely will be around $25.00 per driver/per bracket. All the race entry fees will be paid out to the winners. On Friday night, racers will have an open track to practice, and again on Saturday morning. We are also considering a special race just for kids under 12. ChillAxle promises a fun summer day for everyone. Great music, good food, and fabulous cars can be found around the grounds.
