The CWU Wellness Center will host a special screening of the documentary film ?Anonymous People? Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 and 6 p.m. in the SURC Theatre. This documentary film identifies and challenges the way addiction has been treated by society. 23.5 million Americans are living in long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. Deeply entrenched social stigma and discrimination have kept recovery voices silent and faces hidden for decades. ?Anonymous People? tells the story of addiction through the eyes of those who have experienced it first hand. Don?t miss the opportunity to educate yourself on a significant issue and break the stereotype of what addiction looks like.
