Whether in the form of light projecting through moving water, or layers of mud being washed from a wall, Andy Behrle’s work reflects upon the dichotomies of our existence. Behrle received his M.F.A. in sculpture from Arizona State University in 2003. In 2012 he was selected for inclusion in ArtPrize 2012 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was an artist-in-residence at A Studio in the Woods in New Orleans, Louisiana. He recently moved to Zillah, Washington.
