Basic Mediation Training
The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties is offering a 40-hour Basic Mediation Training where trainees will receive instruction in the skills necessary to serve as a neutral third-party mediator, including hands-on experience in mediation and invaluable communication and listening tools that can help in every aspect of their work and home lives. Additional training that leads to mediator certification will be available to those who complete the course and volunteer for the DRC.

Fridays 5:30 to 9 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

The class will be held via Zoom; audio and video capabilities are required.
Fees/Admission
The cost of this training is $500. A scholarship may be available by application. Community members with bilingual English/Spanish language skills are encouraged to apply.
